Clarence Estate offers the Albany Community the very best in aged care. The facility, built in 2002, has been architecturally designed to provide residents with privacy and respect in a comfortable, home-style environment.
Walk through the entrance, and you know at once that you have entered a very special place. An open reception greets the visitor with views straight through to a beautiful courtyard featuring a combination of native and fragrant exotics.
Clarence Estate has five houses each catering for between 16 and 18 suites offering a range of services including high care, low care and dementia support. Two of the houses accommodate the .
Admission to Clarence Estate is by approval of the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing, via your local Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). The Team will provide you with a copy of the approval, known as an ACCR Form. The Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing also determines the fees and basic benefit paid for each resident. Information about the current level of fees may be obtained from the Executive Manager at Clarence Estate.
CARE & SERVICES:
At Clarence Estate we employ Qualified Nursing Staff 24 hours per day 7 days a week, residents and their families have a choice of Medical Practitioner, we offer the services of Physiotherapy and can assist with Dental, Hearing, Optical and Podiatry upon request. We provide specialized nursing procedures as required and other services on request. Clarence Estate offers an extensive activities program designed to promote quality of life.
Clarence Estate has a Continuous Quality Improvement Programme in place, where upon all our services are under constant review to ensure that we always provide the highest standards possible.
Clarence Estate accepts people from all religions and residents are encouraged to fulfill their particular religious needs, any Minister of Religion is free to conduct services at the facility.
Two additional services now provided from Clarence Estate are (DEMENTIA) a program tailored to meet the needs of people diagnosed with Dementia and would like to enjoy the security of living in their own home, and :designed to support older people in the transition from hospital to their own home.
